Frequently Asked Questions
What is the first step in booking a shoot?
Send me an email, and include what type of shoot you’re interested in (family, senior, etc.), what time of year or days of the week work for you, and if text or email is best. Following that, I’ll send over more information on my packages, and we’ll get you on the schedule. If you’re interested in a wedding package, we can schedule a consultation as well.
How do I receive my photos?
I will send you an online gallery via email. You will receive all my edited photos, and can download and print them on your own. My galleries are easy to use, and are password protected.
How long does it take for the photos to be delivered?
It depends! I will try my hardest to get photos back to you within 1-2 weeks. Worst case, my max turnaround for most shoots is 30 days!
Do you print the photos for me?
I do not handle printing, but I will send you my recommendation once your photos are ready. This method cuts out a middle man, and gives you all the agency to print what you like best!
What is best to wear?
I’m sure whatever you pick will be lovely. If you want some tips, I would stay away from heavy patterns and bright white. It’s also a good idea to consider your locations when choosing an outfit.
No shame here. I’m a huge supporter of getting your colors done. If you know your season, wear it! I always try to edit based on everyone’s undertones.
What if my kids are cranky?
Don’t fret! You only need a few good moments to get a lot of good photos. I like to just let kids do their thing, and we kind of work around them.
What if the weather is bad?
Every situation is different. I’m an advocate for waiting until the day of or day before to make a decision, but ultimately, if we need to reschedule, we can! For weddings and winter shoots, I usually try to have an indoor backup plan in the back of my mind.
